I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
